3. Bookings and Cancellations
Booking: Services are considered booked once a confirmation has been exchanged and any agreed deposit has been received.
- Cancellations by the client:
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled service may result in partial or full forfeiture of the deposit, depending on the circumstances and at Chef Katia's discretion.
Cancellations by L.A. Lovely Home:
- In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a confirmed booking, clients will receive a full refund of any deposit paid and we will make every effort to reschedule at a time that works for you.
4. Pricing and Payment
Pricing is provided during the consultation process and confirmed before any service begins. Final pricing may include:
- Chef's service fee
- Grocery and ingredient costs (billed at cost, with no markup)
- Travel or other agreed fees
Payment terms are agreed upon individually with each client. Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the booking process.
5. Dietary Restrictions and Allergens
Clients are responsible for disclosing all dietary restrictions, food allergies, and intolerances before services are performed. L.A. Lovely Home will take all reasonable precautions to accommodate disclosed needs, but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment as cross-contamination may occur. L.A. Lovely Home is not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies or intolerances.

To perform services, Chef Katia requires access to the client's kitchen and, in some cases, the broader home environment. Clients agree to provide a safe and reasonably equipped workspace. L.A. Lovely Home agrees to treat the client's home and belongings with respect, and to leave the kitchen clean and in the same condition as found.
